Insurance Included
Upon delivery of your car, you'll be covered under Voltric's insurance, included in your monthly subscription. Additional drivers from the same address can be added if they meet our criteria. Should there be an insurance claim, a £750 excess charge applies.

What's Covered
Accidental Damage
Accidental damage can cover the cost of repair to damage that was sudden and not done on purpose. There needs to be a one-off, single event that caused the damage to your vehicle.
Third Party, Fire or Theft
Our insurance covers the vehicle for theft.
It also covers the vehicle in the event of fire damage.
This includes accidental and criminal fire damage.
Liability to Others Insured
Covers you for damage to someone else's vehicle, property, or injury to someone else in an accident.
Windscreen or Window Damage
Excesses will vary depending on if a repair or replacement is required.

Insurance Limitations
Voltric customers must be 25 years old, 30 for Teslas, have held their licence for at least 1 year, and had it issued in the UK (contact us if your license was issued elsewhere).
Drivers can’t have been disqualified from driving in the last 36 months or have three or more convictions or the following offence codes:
Theft or unauthorised taking UT
Drink or Drugs/ DR or DG
Dangerous Driving DD
Driving whilst disqualified BA
Unfortunately, we can’t offer subscriptions to persons in the following occupations:
Professional sportsmen or women
Entertainment or theatrical profession
Racing or gambling
What's Not Covered
Racing - Use for racing, pace-making, speed testing, rallies, trials, competitions, or on any motor sport circuit.
Taxi Driving - Use for carriage of passengers for hire or reward
Towing - Use the vehicle for Towing and/or Trailers
International Travel - Use outside of the UK
Road Tax
Voltric only offers electric vehicles in our entire range. All EVs are tax exempt until 2025. At Voltric we register all of our vehicles with the DVLA to provide road tax for all of our customers.
